धरती की कविता कभी भी मृत नहीं होती है। जब सभी पक्षी गर्म सूर्य से बेहाल है और ठंडे पेड़ों में छिप जाते हैं, झाड़ियों के एक घेरे से दूसरे तक एक नई सूखी घास के ढेर की चरागाह में से होती एक आवाज गुजरती होगी। वह टिड्डे की आवाज है। वह नेतृत्व ले लेता है। गर्मियों के आराम में भी उसकी खुशियाँ कभी खत्म नहीं होती बल्कि जब वह मजा करते हुए थक जाता है तो वह किसी सुखद घास-पात के नीचे आसानी से आराम करता है।

Word Meaning : Wrought = brought about (लाना), Warmth = Hotness (गर्मी करना), Shrills = comes through loud and clear (जोर की तीखी ध्वनि), Drowsiness = half lost (ऊँघने में लगे रहना)।
पृथ्वी की कविता कभी रुक नहीं रही है। एक अकेली सर्दियों की शाम, जब ओस की वजह से हर ओर शांति बिखरी हुई है, पत्थरों में से झींगुर के गाने की जोर से ध्वनि सुनाई देती है। हमेशा की बढ़ती हुई गर्मी में और किसी के आधी नींद में ऊँघने की सी आवाज सुनाई पड़ती है। ट्ड्डेि की आवाज भी किसी घास की पहाड़ियों में गुंजती हुई सुनाई पड़ती है।

The poet wants to say about the beauty of the earth that it never faints whether it is winter or summer. The creatures on the earth act differently in different seasons.
